Rapper 50 Cent Hospitalized After Major Car Crash

The rapper 50 Cent was taken to the hospital after his SUV was rear-ended by a Mack Truck on the Long Island Expressway in New York.  The car nearly flipped after being hit by the truck, with the accident occurring around 3 am last night.  50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, was taken to Queens Hospital on a stretcher.

The rapper is reportedly fine, according to sources who spoke with XXL magazine.   He has also been released from the hospital.  This is the second time that the rapper has been in the news for an illness or injury in the last month.  Recently, 50 Cent came back from London after suffering food poisoning.  Doctors found a blockage in his small intestine and he’d become so dehydrated from throwing up that he ended up having to be taken to the hospital.

You can expect to hear about these incidents in the rapper’s next album.  He was famously shot nine times before becoming famous, which propelled his first album to the top of the charts.  It’s hard to imagine getting the same hype for food poisoning and a car accident, but who knows?

  1. 50 Cent is one of my favourite rappers, with one of the best voices of all time; and that is what makes a rapper. If you don’t have a voice, you don’t have any game -no matter how hard you try. Now, I would like to wish him all the very best; and to wish him 89 more lives…. One Love to a brother from another!

  2. Best wishes to 50 cents for a speedy recovery; and what’s up with people going to England and getting ill. Heavy D got ill while there for the tribute to MJ.
